As I Lay Me Down To Sleep

This Sunday I'm walking in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. I'm doing it with my company, but I'm team captain, and I have more than a little personal regard for this particular cause. To sum things up, I'm looking for help to raise money for research and support services for families with blood cancer. Our goal is $5500 and we've only gotten up to $1700 so far.

If you yourself can't donate, I'd appreciate if you could point this out to someone who might be able to, we need all the help we can get. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) funds lifesaving cancer research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and many other types of cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants, that have helped patients live better, longer lives. New targeted therapies that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissue are providing drugs and procedures that are improving the quality of life.

That is what I walk for. Hope.
